Neurotoxins are a great way to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and can even prevent them from forming in the first place. Because they are injected into and target the muscle, they work by paralyzing the muscle and limiting muscle contractions. Due to these limited muscle movements, the wrinkles that are usually formed through constant muscle contractions (like raising your eyebrows, frowning, and smiling) will be reduced or prevented.
Before & After Neurotoxin Injections
What are neurotoxin injections?
BOTOX®, Xeomin and Dysport are commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Made from a purified protein, neurotoxins have the ability to relax the muscles you use to create facial wrinkles, giving you a refreshed, younger look. Whether you want to look rejuvenated and rested, or desire that “frozen” look, our professional injector will help you achieve the results you’re looking for.
What are neurotoxin injections used to treat?
Used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and correct excessive gingival display, or "gummy smile."
How soon will I see results?
Results may take anywhere from 24 hours to 2 weeks post treatment to appear. Bruising can occur, but is not as common. True results are seen about 2 weeks post treatment, and can last up to 3 months.

You should avoid ibruprofen (Advil), Aspirin, Aleve, Motrin, Naprosyn, Excedrin, Vitamin E and A, Gingko Biloba, Omega-3 Fatty acids, cod liver oil, CoQ10, garlic, ginger, and alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to treatment. How long will treatment take to complete?
It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
What should I expect after treatment?
Post care instructions are similar to treatment preparation instructions, however, your injector will review and disperse a copy of post-care instructions to you.
