Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal

An innovative approach to treating unwanted tattoos. To perform the tattoo removal, a client will be informed that the method for treating their tattoo involves shattering the ink in the dermal layer of the skin, partially through the absorption of pulses of light energy, which cause the tattoo ink to shatter.

One often undiscussed element of laser tattoo removal is the optimal period between patient visits. Most clients wait until their next session until the treatment area is fully healed. The primary goal of waiting has traditionally been the need for the skin to heal in between sessions. The secondary goal has been to allow the body time to “flush away” the ink that has been shattered by the laser.

Benefits of Laser Tattoo Removal

1. Safe, Easy, and Effective

The laser tattoo removal process uses an FDA-approved laser to easily, safely, and effectively remove tattoos. Laser tattoo removal effectively reduces the appearance of tattoo ink without causing lasting effects to the surrounding skin. The procedure results in minimal damage and virtually no side effects compared to traditional methods.

2. Any Size

The laser removal technique is an effective means of removing any tattoo, large or small. Laser tattoo removal can remove specific tattoos or parts of existing tattoos.

3. Few Side Effects & Minimal Recovery

Laser tattoo removal is one of the safest ways to remove tattoos. The risk of infection is minimal, and few undesirable side effects are reported after treatment. For a few days following treatment, patients will need to use sunscreen on the area to protect their skin from ultraviolet radiation. Some patients report a small amount of redness and tenderness, but these symptoms quickly subside.

4. High Satisfaction Rate

About 11% of people with tattoos will seek treatment for removal and about 70% of these people are women. The majority of individuals who have undergone the procedure are happy with their tattoo removal and do not regret having their body art undone.

FAQ's

How does Laser Tattoo Removal work?
Laser Tattoo Removal works by targeting pigment colors in the skin’s dermis, which lies between your outer layer of skin (epidermis) and the tissue beneath. The tattoo pigments absorb the laser’s beam, breaking up into tiny fragments. Your body then naturally absorbs these fragments and eliminates them.

How does my body remove the ink?
It is believed that ink from your tattoo is removed by the body’s lymphatic system. The ink is then largely excreted as waste matter. Some ink is known to resolve itself within the lymph nodes, but interestingly, much of the ink from preexisting tattoos has already been moved to your lymph nodes – which is one reason why tattoos lighten over time.

How many sessions will I need?
Generally, you should expect a series of 3 – 10 sessions; although, some ink may be completely removed after just one or two treatments. Ink response will vary given the compounds which comprise your ink, the depth of ink, its age, as well as its color and location.

How long does treatment take?
Treatment times vary depending on the size of the tattoo.

Is Tattoo Removal painful?
The level of pain experienced during laser tattoo removal varies, but it is commonly described in terms of the pain associated with a rubber band popping the skin. We will administer a topical numbing cream to the treatment area 15 minutes prior to beginning treatment to minimize the level of pain experienced during treatment.

Do you sell packages?
